Madeline E. (Merrill) Sigsbury

Madeline E. (Merrill) Sigsbury of Reading passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 15th, 2024. She is 83 years of age.

Born on Friday, July 19, 1940 in Melrose, Madeline is the loving daughter of the late Ernest R. Merrill and Madeline L. (Graves) Merrill. Madeline is a warm, kind, gentle & loyal daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend who will be truly missed.

Madeline is the beloved wife of the late William R. Sigsbury. She is the devoted mother of William L. Sigsbury and his wife Elizabeth A. (Cote) Sigsbury, Lorraine C. (Sigsbury) Reppucci and her late husband James J. Reppucci, Duane R. Sigsbury and his wife Courtney D. (Nelson) Sigsbury and the late David E. Sigsbury. The cherished grandmother of Robert W. Sigsbury and his wife Allison E. (Degel) Sigsbury, Crystal L. Reppucci, Kelly T. (Sigsbury) Imperato and her husband Patrick J. Imperato, Marilyn C. (Sigsbury) Olbash and her husband Ryan E. Olbash, Dylan R. Sigsbury and the late James J. Reppucci, Madeline is the doting great grandmother of Greyson P. Imperato, Thomas R. Sigsbury, Carter J. Imperato, Steven W. Sigsbury and Finnan W. Olbash. She is the dear sister of the late Hugh E. Merrill and his late wife Marjorie H. (Devlaminck) Merrill, the late Richard P. Merrill and his surviving wife Eleanor (Pica) Merrill. Madeline is also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will deeply miss her.

Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with Madeline’s Family on Friday, June 21st from 9:30 – 11:30am in the Doherty – Barile Family Funeral Home, 11 Linden Street READING prior to a Funeral Mass Celebrating Madeline’s Eternal Life in Saint Agnes Church, 186 Woburn Street Reading at 12pm. Parking attendants and elevator are available. Interment Charles Lawn Memorial Park, Reading.
