Madelyn (Carol) Ells

Madelyn (Bradley) "Carol" Ells of Stoneham passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2021. Born on February 8,1928, she is the loving wife of the late James "Jimmy" Ells. Madelyn is the loving mom of James Ells and his wife Lisa, Joanne Sullivan and her husband Paul, Cliff Ells and his partner Jill, Debra Marshall and her husband David, Laurie O'Neill and her husband Robert, Kim Beaton and her husband Gus, Leslie Cogan and her husband Daniel and the late Leonard Ells, the late William Ells and his surviving wife Elizabeth.

Carol is the Sweet Grammy of Kristina Sullivan, Marc Sullivan and his wife Jenna, Adam O'Neill and his wife Maryjane, Joseph Aurigemma and his wife Jennifer, Bryan O'Neill and his wife Dana, Jillian Aurigemma and Gary, Emily Cogan, Jacklyn Martinez and her husband Richie, Kathryn Madelyn Cogan and Dylan Ells. She is the adored Big Grammy of Fallon, Macy, Elaina, Olivia, Lucy, Noah, Marlee - June, Nate, Kai, Haley - James, Avery – Grace, McKenzie, and Evelyn.

Carol is the loving sister of her late twin brother Leonard, her late brother Robert and her late sisters Doris, Margie, Jeanne and Patty. She is a sweet and kind friend and aunt to many.

Carol retired from many years at Harmonic Drive in Wakefield.

Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) Monday, February 1st at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Carol's Eternal Life in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am. Covid-19 protocols will be followed. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with Carol's Family on Sunday, January 31st from 3-5pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and elevator are available. Due to state regulations for Covid-19, a mask is required while in the funeral home and we are allowed up to 25% capacity in the funeral home at one time. Interment Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.
