Madelyn J. Planchet

Madelyn J. Planchet (Quigley), of Medford, passed away on Monday February 18, 2002 at the Aberjona Nursing Center. She was 89 years of age.
Madelyn was born and raised in Fitchburg Mass and moved to Medford in 1936 upon her marriage. She was educated at the Burbank Hospital School of Nursing and was a nurse at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
Madelyn was a loving wife, mother, and friend. Her family was first and foremost in her life.
Mrs. Planchet was the wife of the late Paul J. Planchet. She was the loving and devoted mother of Patricia J. and her husband Thomas F. Adams of Stoneham and Richard P. and his wife Jean of Framingham. She was the cherished grandmother of Christine A. and her husband James A. Raymond of Belmont, Kathleen M. Adams of Stoneham, Julie Adams and her husband Thomas E. Donahue of Medford, David P. Planchet and his wife Julie of Harvard, and her two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her loving sister-in-law Louise A. Planchet of Malden and many devoted nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church Medford Hillside 55 Winthrop St. Medford on Friday February 22nd at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Thursday 4-8 pm at the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. Stoneham MA.
