Marcia (Holden) Barrett of Wakefield, formerly of Woburn passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2005 at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. She was 65 years of age.
Born in Reading, Marcia was the loving daughter of the late Kenneth Holden and Katherine (Fultz) Holden. Marcia was a warm and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be missed by all.
Marcia was a dedicated Auto Instructor for Reading Auto School for many years. She was devoted to her family. They were first and foremost in her life. Her love for them was unparalleled.
Marcia was the beloved wife of Joseph B. Barrett of Wakfield. She was the devoted mother of Stephen Merritt and his wife Debra, Cheryl Ficeto and her husband Joseph, and Debra Souza. Marcia was step - mother of Susan Wells and her husband Bob, Carl Barrett, and Joseph B. Barrett Jr. and his wife Than. She was the cherished grandmother of 14 and the dear sister of Kenneth Holden and his wife Lynn. Marcia is also survived by a very special girl, Kachina Horton of Whitefield, New Hampshire and her dog, Peanut.
A Funeral Service in celebration of Marcia's life will be conducted in the Chapel of the Joseph Doherty - Barile Family Funeral Home 11 Linden St. READING Wednesday at 11am. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours Tuesday 4-8pm. Parking is available in the municipal parking lot located behind Atlantic Supermarket on Haven St. Interment Wood End Cemetery, Reading.
