Marcia A. Conrod- of Melrose, passed away on December 7, 2023. She is survived by her three devoted sisters, Donna, Marianne and Susanne, as well as many nephews, nieces, great nephew and great niece and many cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her parents.

Marcia was a kind and generous person who loved her family, friends and God. She had a lifelong affection for animals and especially her pets. Her faith was strong, she read the bible and prayed daily and contributed generously to charity.

Marcia graduated from Wakefield High School as a member of the National Honor Society and she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Syracuse University and studied abroad in London. As a gifted artist, she displayed her work in several local art exhibitions, including the North Suburban Art Show and the Wakefield Public Library.

Marcia worked as a professional graphic artist for Almay's, Stop and Shop In- house Advertising and various other advertising agencies. Always compassionate, Marcia later worked as a companion for the elderly.

Marcia was a longtime member of the Melrose Church of Christ in Melrose.

At the request of the family all funeral services for Marcia are being privately held. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Marcia's name to the Melrose Church of Christ, 409 Upham St, Melrose, MA 02176.
