Margaret T. (Cronin) Carlin of Reading passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at the Winchester Hospital. She was 78 years of age.



Born in Somerville, Margaret was the daughter of the late Margaret (Lorden) and Cornelious Cronin.



Margaret was a warm and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. She had a love for her family that was unparallel; they were first and foremost in her life.



Beloved wife of the late Warren Carlin. Margaret was the devoted mother of Paul Carlin of FL, Michele Dodge and her husband Paul of Reading, Robert Carlin and his wife Jean of Wilmington, Kathleen Donahue and her husband Thomas of NH and the late Mark Carlin. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer, Kacie, Lauren, Robert, Jr., James, Thomas, Kaileen and Lauren. Great grandmother of Jake. Dear sister of Genevieve Brawley of Tewksbury, John Cronin and his wife Pam of Wilmington, William Cronin and the late Joseph Cronin, Dennis Cronin and Josephine Moriarty. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.



Funeral from the Doherty-Barile Family Funeral Home, 11 Linden St. READING, Saturday at 10 am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Margaret's Life in St. Athanasius Church, 300 Haverhill Street, Reading at 11 am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the family on Friday from 4-8 pm in the funeral home. Parking is available in the municipal parking lot on Linden St. Interment Charles Lawn Memorial Park, Reading.
