Margaret F. (Mulkern) Carmody of Stoneham passed away on Friday, February 02, 2007 at Melrose Care Center. She was 91 years of age.
Born in Brookline, Margaret was the loving daughter of the late Thomas Mulkern and Margaret (Joyce) Mulkern. Margaret was a warm and caring daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be sadly missed.
Margaret enjoyed traveling and cooking. Her family was first and foremost in her life. Margaret's warm and gentle smile reflected the special relationships she had made in her life.
Margaret was the beloved mother of Joyce Repta of Everett, Martha Lord and her husband James of New Hampshire and Robert M. Carmody of Stoneham. She was the devoted grandmother of 3 and cherished great grandmother of 3.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Tuesday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Margaret's life in St. Patrick's Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend Visiting Hours Monday, 5-8pm. Parking attendants will be on duty. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
