Margaret T. (O'Keeffe) Connors of Reading, and Naples, FL passed away on Sunday October 3, 2004 at Daniels House in Reading. She was 78 years of age.
Margaret was a lifelong resident of Reading, living primarily in the Mudville Section. She was raised by her sister Mary and her brother Dan, after both of her parents died. Margaret was baptized and married at Saint Agnes Church in Reading. She graduated from Reading Memorial High School in the class of 1944.
Margaret was a legal secretary for Latham and Latham law offices. She loved tennis and baseball. Margaret was a warm and caring woman who always captured everyone's spirit.
Margaret was the beloved wife of 50 years to the late Vincent C. Connors. She was the devoted mother of Joseph F. Connors and his wife Anne (Gaquin) of North Reading, Mary Connors and her husband Chris Gill of Seattle, Michael E. Connors and his wife Ann (MacSweeney) of North Reading, Edward S. Connors and his wife Jeanne of Hermon, ME, Ann T. Connors-Cook and her husband Thomas of Hamilton, Margaret C. Daly and her husband Tim of Reading. Margaret was the cherished grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She was the dear sister of Daniel O'Keeffe of RI, Ann Awiszus of Arlington and the late Joseph and Mary O'Keeffe.
Funeral from the Joseph Doherty Funeral Home 11 Linden St. READING Thursday at 8am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Agnes Church 186 Woburn St. Reading at 9am. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours Wednesday 4-8pm. Parking is available in the municipal parking lot located behind Atlantic Supermarket on Haven St. Interment Forest Glen Cemetery, Reading.
