Margaret Anne Martinage

Margaret A. (MacDonald) Martinage, of Reading, passed away on Saturday September 15, 2007 at the Daniels House Nursing Home in Reading. She was 99 years old.





Born in Amherst, Nova Scotia, Margaret was a resident of Reading for over 60 years. Margaret was a member of the Reading Women's Club for over 50 years as well as St. Agnes Church. Margaret was a nurse at Melrose Wakefield Hospital.





Margaret was the beloved wife of the late Louis J. Martinage. She was the cherished mother of Louis H. Martinage and his wife Corinne of Yarmouth Port, and Donald E. Martinage and his wife Mary P. of Atkinson NH. She was the loving grandmother of Janice Hunt and James Martinage of Salem NH, John Martinage of Atkinson NH, Louis Martinage of Maryland, Edward J. Martinage of CA, Margaret A. Lukovits of VT, and Robert C. Martinage of Virginia. Margaret was the dear great grandmother of 12.





Family and friends are kindly invited to attend Visiting Hours on Friday from 9am-10am in the Joseph Doherty Barile Family Funeral Home 11 Linden St. READING followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Margaret's Life in St. Agnes Church 186 Woburn St. Reading at 10:30am. Parking attendants will be on duty. Interment Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
