Margaret A. "Peg" (Knowlton) Murray passed away on Thursday, August 12, 2010 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She was 63 years of age.
Born in Medford, Peg was the daughter of the late Irene (Morris) Knowlton and Frank L. Knowlton.
Peg was a loving wife, sister, aunt and friend and will be missed by all. She enjoyed time with her family. She loved music and going to concerts. She loved the ocean and enjoyed going to the Cliff House in Maine with her husband. Peg loved shopping and finding a good bargain, she loved fashion, color, shoes and accessories. She also liked to do needlepoint, she was an avid reader, very knowledgeable and a dedicated professional. Peg was liked by everybody.
Peg was the beloved wife of John P. Murray. She was the dear sister of Pat Philp and her husband Paul and Franny Macone and her husband Bill. Aunt of Christine Philp, Marybeth Philp, Andrea Mason and her husband Jason, Stephen Macone and Brian Macone.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Monday at 10 am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Peg's life in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 11 am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Sunday from 1-5 pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants will be available. Interment Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.
