Margaret J. (Kenney) Peters

Margaret J. (Kenney) Peters, a longtime resident of Stoneham, passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2025 with her loving family by her side. She is 87 years of age.

Born on Tuesday, July 5, 1938 in Melrose, Margaret is the loving daughter of the late John Kenney and Barbara (Siemion) Kenney. Margaret is a warm, kind, gentle & loyal daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend who will be deeply missed.

Margaret is the beloved wife of the late Russell Peters. She is the devoted mother of William Peters and his wife Jeanne, Diane Woods and her husband Michael, Gayle Secher and her husband Eric, Michele Powers and her husband Michael and Susan Grafton and her husband Matt. The cherished grandmother of Lindsay Surette and her husband Matthew, Nicholas Peters-Bond and his husband Michael Bond, Jeremy Peters, Ashley Marshall and her fiancé Shaun Gregoire, Corey Marshall and his wife Stephanie, Joshua Secher and his wife Breanna, Nicole Powers, Cassidy Powers, Jacquelaine Powers, Laney Grafton, twins Paige & Matthew Grafton and the late Nathan Secher, Margaret is the doting great grandmother of Hazel, Violet & Magnolia Surette, Savannah & Evalena Peters-Bond, Quentin Medina-Marshall, Iliana Medina-Marshall, Bentley & Ethan Gregoire, Elizabeth, Justin, Adriana, Jackson & Rayne Marshall and Spencer Secher. She is also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews and friends who will truly miss her.
