Margaret T. Shaughnessy of Stoneham passed away on Saturday, May 29, 2004 at Meadow Green Nursing Center in Waltham. She was 82 years of age.
Born in Cambridge, Margaret was a longtime resident of Stoneham. Margaret was a loving and caring daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be missed by all.
Margaret was the beloved wife of the late John Edward Shaughnessy. She was the devoted mother of John W. Shaughnessy of Stoneham, James E. Shaughnessy of Hudson, New Hampshire and Paul J. Shaughnessy of North Reading. Margaret was the cherished grandmother of Jaime Shaughessy, Corbett Shaughnessy, Lauren Shaughnessy and Kerry Shaughnessy. She was the dear sister of the late John L. Burns and Francis L. Burns, both of Watertown.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Wednesday at 8am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Patrick's Church 71 Central St. Stoneham at 9am. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours Tuesday 6-8pm. Parking attendants will be on duty.
