Marguerite L. (Matera) Veno

Marguerite L. (Matera) Veno, of Stoneham, passed away peacefully on Sunday March 1, 2026 with her family by her side. She was 94 years of age.

She was a sports enthusiast with love for all New England sports, especially her Boston Bruins. She enjoyed holidays, sunday family dinners, trips to the casino and most recently a trip to Las Vegas to visit her brother. Over the years she loved attending her grandchildren and great grand children's various activities.

Marguerite is the daughter of the late Fred Matera and Louise (Cozzi) Matera. She was the beloved wife of the late Edgar Veno. She is the cherished mother of Rhonda Rolli and her husband Steven, Darlene Magno and her husband Anthony and Michael Veno. Loving grandmother of Gianna Meuse and her husband Tim, Christopher Rolli, Toni Nicole Magno and her fiancé Max, Michael Veno, Austin Veno, Isabella Veno and great grandmother of Ella and T.J. Meuse. Dear sister of Fred Matera and the late James Matera. She is also survived by her brother-in-law Larry Veno and his wife Marcia and her sister-in-law Helena Enos. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share memories with the family on Monday March 9th, 2026 from 10 am to 12 pm followed by a Funeral Service Celebrating Marguerite's Eternal Life at 12 at Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main Street (RT 28) STONEHAM. Parking attendants and elevator are available. Interment to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford.
