Maria C. Aeschlimann

Maria C. (Acuna) Aeschlimann of Stoneham, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2007 at Melrose Care Center. She was 95 years of age.
Born in Quirihue, Chile, Maria was the cherished daughter of the late Juan Acuna and Claudina (Faundez) Acune. Maria was a warm and caring daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and dear friend. She will be sadly missed.
Maria was a dedicated College Professor. She was devoted to her family, her career and her church. Maria and her husband Werner were Missionaries for the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Maria was the beloved wife for 72 years of the late Werner Aeschlimann. She was the devoted mother of Mirna Aeschlimann, MD, of Stoneham and the late Werner Aeschlimann, MD, of Stoneham. Maria was the cherished grandmother of 5 and the dear aunt of Myrna LaRosa, PhD of Oak Grove, IL.
A Funeral Service celebrating Maria's life will be held on Sunday at 4pm in the Chapel of the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend Visiting Hours, Saturday 5-7pm and Sunday 2-4pm. Parking attendants will be on duty.
