Maria C. (Destito) Caturello of Reading, passed away on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at Winchester Hospital. She was 85 years of age.
Maria was born in Catanzara, Italy. She was a warm and caring wife, loving mother, devoted grandmother and great grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew her. She loved cooking and loved her flower garden, she had a "green thumb".
Maria was the beloved wife for 67 years of Antonio G. Caturello. She was the devoted mother of Mariella Scribner and her husband Donald, Liliana Patterson and her husband Kevin, Norma Caturello, Dominick Caturello and his wife Marybeth and Anthony Caturello. Maria was the cherished grandmother of 6, great grandmother of 11.
Funeral from the Doherty - Barile Family Funeral Home, 11 Linden St. READING Wednesday at 9:30am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Maria's Eternal Life in St. Agnes Church, 186 Woburn St. Reading at 10:30 am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Tuesday from 4-8pm in the Funeral Home. Interment Wood End Cemetery, Reading.
