Maria Bernardete Cro Granito of Stoneham passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 11th, 2026. She is 94 years of age.

Born on Tuesday, August 23rd, 1932 in Funchal, Madeira, Portugal, Maria is the loving daughter of the late Antonio Rodrigues Cro and Maria Pereira Cro. Maria is a warm, kind, gentle and loyal daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt and friend who will be deeply missed.

Maria is the beloved wife of the late Jose Gomes Granito. She is the devoted mother of Jose A. Cro Granito. The dear sister of Otilia, Judite, the late Miguel, the late Mirita and the late Odete, Maria is also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews and friends who will truly miss her.

Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with Maria’s Family on Saturday, September 19th from 10am – 12pm followed by a Funeral Service Celebrating Maria’s Eternal Life at 12pm in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main Street (RT 28) STONEHAM. Parking attendants and elevator are available. Interment Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.
