Maria E. "Nonnie" Covino - 78 of Billerica, former Stoneham resident of 30 years passed away peacefully with her family at her side on October 27, 2021.
Maria was the loving wife of the late Anthony L. Covino for over 54 years. She was a devoted mother to their three children, Anthony Covino Jr and his wife Paula, Carolyn Chronister and her husband Harry and Matthew Covino and his girlfriend Cynthia Mills. Maria cherished every moment with her three grandchildren, Nicole Chronister and her boyfriend Walter Perez, Carly and her husband Michael Fabiano and Julian Covino.
She was the beautiful daughter of the late Angelina and Roger Bevilacqua of Stoneham. Maria leaves behind her loving sister Barbara Capone and longtime brother-in-law Joseph Capone. She is Auntie" Re" to Valerie Capone and her son Michael, Steven and Denise Capone and their daughter Joelle, Chrissy Capone and Michelle Capone and her son Jack.
Maria was blessed with so many aunts, uncles, cousins and their children with an infinite amount of wonderful memories that were shared over the years. Maria leaves behind her lifelong friend Annette Iascone which they both enjoyed many years of laughs, smiles and tears but most of all, love of their friendship.
Maria had truly amazing friends and neighbors over the years and fond memories to go with each and every one of them. She spent her life sharing her heart through cooking and support to her family and loved ones. No kitchen will ever be the same without her….
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM, Thursday, November 4th at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Maria's Eternal Life in Saint Patrick Church, 71 Central Street Stoneham at 10am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with Maria's Family on Wednesday, November 3rd from 4-8pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and elevator are available. Interment Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
