Marian P. (White) "Tish" Cronin of Stoneham passed away on Tuesday October 7, 2003 at Sunbridge Care & Rehab of North Reading. She was 86 years of age.

Born in East Boston, Massachusetts, Marian was the loving daughter of Sylvan Thomas LeBlanc and Mary E. White Hayden. She moved to Stoneham in 1973. "Tish" was a graduate of the Walnut School of Nursing in Arlington. She was an employee at Central Hospital in Somerville, Otis Hospital in East Cambridge and Bear Hill Nursing Center for 10 years. Marian also worked for John Hancock Insurance in Boston. She was an avid traveler and a Red Sox season ticket holder supporting her favorite home team. She was also a dedicated singer in the St. Patrick's Church Choir.

Her family and friends were very important in her life. She was a very kind and caring mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be greatly missed.

Marian was the former wife of Andrew F. Cronin. She was the beloved mother of Corinne Cronin-Bernat and her husband John of Stoneham and cherished grandmother of Michael Bernat and his wife Kathleen and Heather Bernat-Kodzis and her husband John. Marian was the loving great grandmother of Ruby and John-Paul. Dear sister of Adele Linscott and Eleanor Walsh both of Malden and sister-in-law Elizabeth White of Eastham. Dear friend of Mary Samour of Stoneham.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick's Church 71 Central St. Stoneham, Saturday at 10 a.m. Interment Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.

Donations in memory of Marian may be made to Dana Farber Jimmy Fund Tribute Program 1 Harvard Street Brookline, MA. 02146-9795.
