Marie E. Clabby of Methuen formerly of Stoneham passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2009 at her home. She was 51 years of age.
Born in Boston, Marie was the daughter of Mary Lou (Conroy) and Kevin R. Clabby. Marie was a loving wife, daughter, step-mother, sister, and friend and will be missed by all.
Marie was an avid Red Sox fan. She graduated from Stoneham High School in 1976, where she was active in Track and Field. Marie graduated from Georgetown University in 1980 with a B.A. Degree in Financing. She was a committee member and instrumental in orchestrating the celebration of the 250th Anniversary of the Town of Stoneham representing the youth of Stoneham.
Marie was the beloved wife of William G. Manning. Devoted Step-Mother of William A. Manning and Jean A. Manning. She was the Devoted sister of Kevin R. Clabby, Jr. of Revere, Martha Clabby of GA, Nancy Muldrew of Watertown, Carole Urbano of Wakefield and the late Susan. Marie is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Wednesday at 9:00 am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Marie's life in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10:00 am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the family on Tuesday from 4-8 pm in the Funeral Home.
