Marie L. (Leonard) Berry

Marie L. (Leonard) Berry of Stoneham passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2016 at Wingate of East Longmeadow. She was 90 years of age.
Born on May 6, 1926 in Boston, Marie was the loving daughter of the late George Leonard and Marie (McDonnell) Leonard. Marie was a warm and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Marie was a loyal member and graduate of Saint Patrick Church and High School. A devout Catholic, she was a member of the Catholic Daughters and Ladies of Sodality. Marie was also a dedicated Girl Scout Leader for many years.
Marie was the beloved wife of the late James Everett Berry. She was the devoted mother of Joseph Berry and his wife Loretta, John "Jack" Berry and his wife Colleen and Jeffrey Berry and his wife Helen. The loving step mother of James Berry, Jr. and his friend Janice Philbrick and Lois Gianni and her husband Sam, Marie was the cherished grandmother of 6 and great grandmother of 7. She was the dear sister of Elizabeth D'Entremont and her husband Robert, Noreen D'Entremont and her husband Roger and the late George, James, Joseph and Thomas Leonard and Patricia Hoyt and the sister in law of Mary Leonard and the late Theresa Leonard. Marie was also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Thursday, October 6th at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Marie's Eternal Life in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with the Family on Wednesday, October 5th from 4-7pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and elevator are available. Interment Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield.
