Marie (Romano) Marino

Marie C. (Romano) Marino of Stoneham, passed away on Wednesday January 13, 2015 at age 86. Marie was the proud wife of the late WWII Marine Arthur R. Marino Sr. She was the loving mother of Arthur R. Marino Jr. and his wife Pamela, Sandra Bates and her husband John, Debra Kelley and her husband Kevin, Douglas Marino and his wife Kristen. Marie was the cherished grandmother of Melissa and Matthew Marino, Jack and Melissa Bates, Joshua and Lili Bates, Justin Marino, Marty and Kerri Kelley, Patrick and Carolyn Kelley. Great Grandmother of Alex, Victoria, Octavio and Mariela. Beloved daughter of the late Generoso and Eleanor (Iaccono) Romano. Dear sister of Louise Romano and the late Jerry and Anthony Romano. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Marie was a member of the Ladies of Sodality in St. Anthony Church in Revere. She enjoyed 57 wonderful years of marriage. She loved traveling to the islands and playing tennis.

Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT28) STONEHAM Saturday at 8am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Marie's Eternal Life in St. Patrick's Church 71 Central St. Stoneham at 9am. Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share remembrances with the family Friday from 2-7pm. Parking attendants will be available. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
