Marie A. (Palmisano) Sidoti

Marie A. (Palmisano) Sidoti, 74, beloved wife of Gus J. Sidoti, passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2017 at her home, surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Cambridge, she is the daughter of the late Salvatore and Helen (Dobrisky) Palmisano.

Marie grew up in Cambridge and attended Cambridge Schools. She settled in Medford to raise her family. She was a loving and compassionate woman. In 2001, Marie married the true love of her life Gus and resided in Stoneham. She was dedicated to her family. Marie was a kind and generous wife, mother, grandmother, step mother, step grandmother, sister, and friend to many. She will truly be missed by all who had her in their lives.

In addition to her husband of 16 years, Gus, she is survived by four children: Raymond W. McCormack, Jr., John F. McCormack, Vincent L. McCormack and his wife Jeanmarie and Marie A. LaGambina and her husband Dominick; two brothers: Joseph Palmisano and James Palmisano and his wife Debbie; seven grandchildren: Amy, William, Kristyn, Andrew, Dominick, Arianna and Nicholas; three great grandchildren: Toni, Brandan and Nicholas; four step children: Dee Parker and her husband Joey, David Sidoti, Danny Sidoti and Derek Sidoti and his wife Jillian; along with many nieces, nephews, step grandchildren and many loving friends. She is predeceased by her children James and Joseph McCormack, her grandson Anthony, her sister Joanne Stowers and step daughter Denise Sidoti.

Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with the Family on Friday, September 1st from 4-8pm in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM. A Prayer Service Celebrating Marie's Eternal Life will be held at 8pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and elevator are available.
