Marilyn (Colarusso) Castaldo

Marilyn Castaldo, 94, beloved mother passed peacefully and entered into the presence of the Lord on Thursday, February 5, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was a woman whose life was exemplified by her kindness, generosity and steadfast faith and will leave a lasting impact on all who knew her. Her legacy lives on through the faith she instilled in her children.

A lifelong parishioner, Sunday school teacher and Eucharistic minister at Saint Patrick Parish, Stoneham, MA. When she became unable to attend in person, she faithfully watched mass online.

She has finished her race and now dwells in the house of the Lord. Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted (Matthew 5:4).

Marilyn is predeceased by her beloved husband Frank Castaldo. She is the cherished mother of Donna Manning and her husband Robert, Diane DelVecchio and her husband Robert, Cheryl Bevilacqua and her husband Steven, Frances Grande and her husband George, and Michele Dufour and her husband Michael. Loving grandmother of Robert, Steven, Joseph, Frank, Marlaina, Raymond, Gerard and Eric. Great grandmother of Joshua, Katherine, Sofia, Francesca, and Viviana. Dear sister of Anthony, Johnny, Augustine Jr, Irene and Georgianna. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass Celebrating Marilyn's Eternal Life in Saint Patrick’s Church 71 Central St. Stoneham on Tuesday February 10th, 2026 at 10:00am. Please go directly to church.
