Marilyn (Evangelista) Pye

Marilyn (Evangelista) Pye, of Medford, passed away peacefully on Thursday October 6th, 2022 surrounded by her family. She was 60 years of age.

Her courageous battle with breast cancer took her much too soon from this life. Forever a beacon to others, Marilyn inspires through her strength of conviction and infinite courage as well as her tremendous love and devotion to family. Her greatest joy in life is being mother to sons, Joey and Justin, and grandmother to granddaughter, Hallie.

Marilyn is the beloved wife of Gerard Pye. She is the loving mother of Joseph Pye and his wife Jessica, and Justin Pye and his wife Brittany. Cherished grandmother of Hallie Rose Pye. Daughter of Claudio and Lucia (Evangelista) Evangelista. Marilyn is the dear sister of Marco Evangelista, Anthony Evangelista, Angela Patterson and Johnna Lent. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

 A Funeral Mass Celebrating Marilyn's Eternal Life will be held on Thursday October 13, 2022  in St. Joseph Church 173 Albion St. Wakefield at 10 am. Interment to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.    

Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share memories with the family on Wednesday October 12, 2022 in the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT28) STONEHAM from 4 pm to 8 pm Parking attendants and elevator available.
