Mario Baffo

Mario Baffo, of Woburn formerly August Italy, passed away peacefully on May 8th, 2023 at his home with his family by his side. He was 96 years of age.

Mario loved spending time in the kitchen, creating delicious meals for his family. He was a skilled gardener, and loved honing his green thumb. He also loved spending the summer at his house in Maine. 

Mario is the beloved husband of Mary (Fowler) Baffo. He is the devoted father of David Baffo and his wife Lisa and the late Donna Lee and her late husband Jack. Loving grandfather of Marissa McLaughlin and her husband Matthew, Ashley Iovanni and her husband Michael and Alexis Gabel and her husband Kyle. Dear great grandfather of Addison and Michael. Brother of the late Maria Ursino.

Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share memories with the family on Friday May 12th, 2023 in the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT28) STONEHAM from 10 am to 12 pm followed by a Funeral Service Celebrating Mario's Eternal Life in the funeral home at 12 pm. Parking attendants and elevator available.
