Marion L. Polk (Nichols) of Stoneham, formerly of Everett, passed away December 14, 2012 at Courtyard Nursing Care Center. She was 92 years of age.
Marion was the beloved wife of the late Chester L. Polk. She was the devoted mother of Jeanne L. Warnock and her husband Larry, Carolyn A. DelRossi and her husband Joe, Ken L. Polk and his wife Carol and Debra R. Ebert and her husband Charlie. Marion was the cherished grandmother of Jonathan Warnock, Christopher DelRossi, Jennifer Meleedy, Michelle Venuti, Leane Scott and Kenneth Polk. She was the loving great grandmother of Joshua, Taela, Derek, Caleigh, Aubrey, Jayden, Ryan and Emily. Marion was the dear sister of the late Wesley Nichols and Albert Nichols.
Marion was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She will be sadly missed. She loved animals especially her cat. Marion provided loving care to her husband Chester. Both Marion and Chester loved music and dancing.
Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Monday from 4-8pm in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St., (RT 28) STONEHAM. Parking attendants and handicapped elevator are available. Funeral is private.
