Marjorie J. (Joyce) Duggan of Reading passed away on Thursday, August 9, 2012 at Bear Hill Nursing Center. She was 86 years of age.
Born in Worcester, Marjorie was the loving daughter of the late Wesley Joyce and Abigail (Roche) Joyce. Marjorie was a warm and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be deeply missed.
Marjorie was the beloved wife of the late Dennis E. Duggan. She was the devoted mother of Joyce L. Driscoll and her husband Neal of Reading. Marjorie was the cherished grandmother of Joshua Driscoll and his wife Gina of Methuen, Zachary Driscoll of Reading. She was the loving great grandmother of Adrianna and Jocelyn Driscoll. Marjorie was the dear sister of Carol Osgood and her late husband Don, and the late William Joyce and his wife Noreen, Claire Gallagher and her husband Paul. She was the sister in law of Vincent Duggan and his wife Emeline and the late Mary Costello and her husband Walter, Neil Duggan and his wife Eleanor, John Duggan and his wife Julia. Marjorie was also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Doherty - Barile Family Funeral Home, 11 Linden St. READING Thursday at 9:30am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Marjorie's Eternal Life in St. Athanasius Church, 300 Haverhill St. Reading at 10:30am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Wednesday from 4-8pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants will be available. Interment Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge.
