Martin C. Stanger of Reading, formerly of Colorado, passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2013. He was 91 years of age.
Martin was a dedicated engineer in the oil industry for many years. He was a loyal and devoted man whose family and friends meant everything to him. During World War II, Martin proudly defended our freedom by serving in the United States Navy.
Martin was the beloved husband of the late Irene (Ciampa) Stanger. He was the cherished son of the late August C. Stanger and Emma (Wahl) Stanger. Martin is survived by his close and dear friends Diane Ventre, Debbie O'Donnell, Stacey Ventre, Carol Brousseau, Christine Hatch, Charlene Hatch, Marcia Armstrong and Rosemary McGrath.
A Funeral Service Celebrating Martin's Eternal life will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at 4pm in the Chapel of the Doherty – Barile Family Funeral Home, 11 Linden St. READING. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend. Visitation will be held prior to the Service beginning at 2pm. Parking attendants and handicapped entrance are available.
