Mary B. (Lauria) Belmonte of West Peabody, formerly of Malden and the North End passed away Wednesday December 20, 2006 at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington. She was 74 years old.
Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Filomena (Sciarina) Lauria of Italy. Mary loved her family. They were first and foremost in her life. She also loved to cook. Mary was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be missed by all.
Mary was the beloved wife of the late John M. Belmonte. She was the devoted mother of Debi Volpe of New York, Steve Belmonte of Burlington, John Belmonte of Peabody, Dennis Belmonte of Middleton, and Michelle Melo of Peabody. Cherished grandmother of 5. Dear sister of Guy Lauria of Woburn. Mary is predeceased by 5 brothers and 2 sisters.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Saturday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Mary's life in St. Adelaide Church, 708 Lowell St. Peabody at 10am.
Family and friends are kindly invited to attend Visiting Hours Friday 5-9pm. Parking attendants will be on duty.
