Mary E. (Hollum) "Tootsie" Casey of Medford, formerly of Allston passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2005 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford. She was 88 years of age.
Born in Waltham, Tootsie was the beloved daughter of the late Richard Hollum and Eunice (O'Brien) Hollum. Tootsie was a loving and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and friend. She will be missed by all.
Tootsie was a dedicated homemaker for many years. She loved her family. They were first and foremost in her life.
Tootsie was the beloved wife of the late Leo F. Casey. She was the devoted mother of Joan Mathley of Kentucky, Barbara Tringali of Stoneham, Francis Casey of Kentucky and the late Robert Casey. Tootsie was the cherished grandmother of 10, great grandmother of 22 and great great grandmother of 1. She was the dear sister of the late Francis Hollum and the sister in law of Helen Hollum.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Monday at 8am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Patrick's Church 71 Central St. Stoneham at 9am. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours Sunday 1-4pm. Interment Cambridge Cemetery, Cambridge.
