Mary (Dalaklis) Arvanitis passed away peacefully on February 6. She was the daughter of the late John and Cleo Dalaklis, wife of the late Konstantinos Arvanitis and beloved mother of the late Georgia Arvanitis. She was the sister of the late Frank Dalaklis, his wife Kay and their children Joanne, Karen and her husband Franco, Frank and his wife Sandra and Michael. Great aunt to Derek, Nicolas, Stephanie, Dylan and McKenna. Mary is also survived by nieces and nephews in Greece and New Orleans. Also aunt to Katrina, Victoria and Eleni Raschi.  Loving friend to Rena, Helen, Dotty and Mary.

Mary was born in Somerville and grew up in the Brickbottom area, she fondly remembered wonderful times there with family and friends. She later moved to Stoneham with her husband and daughter where she loved watching the many animals who visited her in her backyard.  Mary enjoyed spending time with her family and cooking with her daughter Georgia.  She loved making crafts and arts and crafts and giving them as gifts.  Mary will be missed by all who loved her and remembered as a caring person who had the kindest heart and never, never complained.

Services for Mary will be held privately.
