Mary (Bellone) DiDonato, beloved wife of the late Joseph DiDonato, passed away on Friday, April 7, 2023.  Born in Boston, she is the loving daughter of the late Antonio and Virginia (Ferrera) DiDonato.

Mary grew up in East Boston and was a graduate of East Boston High School, class of 1955.  In 1956, Mary married the love of her life Joseph and they stayed in East Boston to raise their children.  A talented seamstress, Mary loved to stitch clothing for her children, along with costumes, tablecloths and especially blankets that all of the family treasured.  Mary's greatest joy came from spoiling her grandchildren.  She will be missed by all of her loving family.

Mary is the devoted mother of Joan Salustro and her late husband George of Chicago, Nancy Sandonato and her late husband Robert of Saugus and Anthony DiDonato and his wife Jenifer of Reading.  Cherished grandmother of Aurora, Joya, Lewis, Nicole, Gabrielle, Jacquelyn and Juliette and great grandmother of Flo and Suna.  Loving sister of Charles Bellone and his wife JoAnn of Mashpee and the late Josephine De Stefano and the late Anne Duffy.

Visiting hours will be held at St. Theresa's Church, 63 Winter St., North Reading on Tuesday, April 11th, 2023 from 4 to 8pm.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Theresa's Church on Wednesday, April 12th, 2023 at 10:30am.  Interment to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
