Mary Rose DiTrapano

September 28, 1919 — December 7, 2014

Mary Rose (Schiavone) DiTrapano, of Stoneham, formerly of Medford, passed away on December 7, 2014. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Mary Rose was the beloved wife of the late Ascenzo William DiTrapano. She was the devoted mother of Peg Sylvester and her husband Stephen, Robert M. DiTrapano and his wife Kathy, Ruth Dwyer and her husband Jay and the late William J. DiTrapano. Mary Rose was the cherished grandmother of Stephen Sylvester and his wife Anna, Paul Sylvester, Robert DiTrapano and his wife Liz, Michael DiTrapano and his wife Lindsey, Joanna DiTrapano, Rachel Dwyer and Derrick Hart and Adam Dwyer and the cherished great-grandmother of Isabella, Antonio and Benjamin. She was the loving daughter of the late Rafaelle Schiavone and Madeleine (Degennaro) Schiavone. Mary Rose was the dear sister of the late Joseph Schiavone, Ralph Schiavone, Luigi Schiavone and Betty Palantoni. She is survived by brother-in-law Joseph DiTrapano and his wife Josephine and sister-in-laws Anna DiTrapano, Betty DiTrapano and Jean Schiavone. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass celebrating Rose's Eternal Life will be held in Saint Patrick's Church, 71 Central Street Stoneham at 10:00am Wednesday, December 10, 2014. Interment at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
