Mary Josephine "Jody" Doherty of Stoneham passed away Friday September 15, 2006.
Jody was employed for many years at Columbia Records. She was a former member of St. Patrick's Prayer Community and past organist and religious education teacher at St. Patrick's Parish Stoneham and Sacred Heart Parish, East Boston. She volunteered at the Samuel Adams School and was past State Regent of Catholic Daughters of America.
Jody was the beloved sister of Phyllis (Tenney) Bennett and William J. Bennett of Stoneham and devoted aunt and great aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was a loving friend to many.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. STONEHAM Tuesday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Jody's life in St. Patrick's Church 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend Visiting Hours Monday 4-8pm. Parking attendants will be on duty. Internment St. Patrick's Cemetery, Stoneham
