Mary E. (Tasca) Doucette

Mary E. (Tasca) Doucette of Reading, formerly of East Boston passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at Meadow View Care & Rehab in North Reading. She was 97 years of age.

Born on January 1, 1917 in Boston, Mary was the loving daughter of the late Calogero Tasca and Antonina (Sennato) Tasca. Mary was a warm and caring daughter, mother and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Mary was a dedicated homemaker. Her family was first and foremost in her life.

Mary was the loving step mother of Pamela O'Neill, Susan Shalit, Patty Margeson, Paul Doucette and the late Donna Doucette, Mary Lou Doucette, Peter Doucette and Janet Santiago. Mary was the dear cousin of Rose Gallo. She was also survived by many loving family members.

Funeral from the Doherty – Barile Family Funeral Home, 11 Linden St. READING Monday, March 10, 2014 at 9:30am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Mary's Eternal Life in St. Agnes Church, 186 Woburn St. Reading at 10:30am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Sunday, March 9, 2014 from 3-6pm in the Funeral Home. Interment Private.
