Mary Ellen (Murphy) Monahan of Stoneham passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at the Sawtelle Family Hospice House in Reading.
Born in Reading, Mary Ellen was the loving daughter of Winifred (Moriarty) Murphy and the late Francis Murphy. Mary Ellen was a warm and caring daughter, wife and mother. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Mary Ellen was the beloved wife of John "Jack" Monahan. She was the loving and devoted mother of Mary Monahan, Faith Monahan, Eilene Monahan and Patrick Monahan.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at 10am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Mary Ellen's Eternal Life in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 11am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 from 3-7pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and handicapped elevator are available.
