Mary Teresa Hackett

May 1, 1921 — June 28, 2005

Mary T. (DiTrapano) Hackett of Dedham, formerly of Malden and Stoneham, passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2005 at Milton Hospital in Milton. She was 84 years of age.





Born in Malden, Mary was the beloved daughter of the late Angelo and Marion DiTrapano of Malden. Mary was a warm and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her.





Mary was a dedicated cashier for Boston Gas for many years. She was devoted to her family. They were first and foremost in her life.





Mary was the beloved wife of the late Russell George Hackett Sr. She was the devoted mother of Russell George Hackett Jr. and his spouse Annie M. Hackett of Henderson, Nevada, Barbara Ann Gilman and her spouse Edward Gilman of Stoughton, James Arthur Hackett and his spouse Carol Ellis Hackett of Andover. Mary was the cherished grandmother of Brian Hackett and his spouse Maureen LaGrega Hackett, Keri - Ann Waldman and her spouse Jason Waldman, Matthew Hackett and his spouse Michelle Cronin Hackett, Andrew Hackett, Michael Hackett and Jonathan Hillman. She was the dear sister of Joseph DiTrapano, Richard DiTrapano and the late Ascenzo "Bill" DiTrapano, Angelo DiTrapano and Arthur D. DiTrapano.





Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Saturday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Mary's life in St. Patrick's Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours Friday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Interment Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, W. Peabody.
