Meninger, Mary J. "Joan" (Greene) -of Wilmington, formerly of North Reading. Beloved wife of the late Donald T.  Meninger (Ret. Chief EFD). Mother of Steven T. (EFD) and his wife Karen of Everett, Mark J. (EFD) and Linda of North Reading, Cheryl A. Carlson and her husband Kevin of Bridgewater, Donna M. Maniff of Billerica, Donald A. (EFD) and his wife Maureen of Everett, Katherine M. Hegarty of Saugus, Laureen R. DeBenedetto and her husband Al of Stow, Dorene T. of Everett, Ellen M. Finnegan and her husband Michael of North Reading, John J. and his wife Heather of Groveland and Scott E. Meninger and his wife Kim of Groton. Grandmother of twenty seven and great grandmother of eleven. Sister of the late Barbara McCarthy. Sister-in-law of Patricia Apruzzese and her husband Vincent of Everett, Carol Meninger of Malden, Fr. William Meninger of CO and  John Santamaria of Ayer.  Joan is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Joan's funeral will begin from the Funeral Home on Wednesday May 4th at 9:30am. Her  Funeral Mass will be held in St. Theresa's Church, 63 Winter St. (Rte. 62), North Reading at 10:30am. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Tuesday from 4-8pm in the Funeral Home. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery, Everett. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary's name to the St. Jude Hospital for Children, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105-1905.  Joan was a very active member at St. Theresa's Church in North Reading and was also a former member of the Everett Woman's Elks and E.V.F.A.
