Mary Louise Kelly

November 8, 1936 — March 26, 2003

Mary Louise Kelly of Wakefield, passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2003 at Brigham and Women's Hospital Boston. She was 66 years of age.

Born Cambridge, Mary Louise lived in Weston for many years later moving to Wakefield. She was a graduate of Weston High School and received her Masters Degree from Boston University graduating Magnum cum laude. She entered the Order of the Sisters of St. Joseph and was Sister Regina Carmel for 17 years. She was a teacher at Aquinas Junior College, Newton. She served as the staff director for the House Banking Committee under the Chairman in the House of Representatives in Washington, D.C.

Mary Louise was an active member in St. Patrick's Church, Stoneham. She enjoyed traveling, organizing many enjoyable trips.

Mary Louise was the daughter of the late Bartholomew and Margaret (Molloy) Kelly. She is survived by her two brothers, John P. Kelly of Wakefield, Paul J. Kelly of Boston, her sister Margaret M. Siccone of Stow and many loving nieces and nephews.Mary Louise was the sister of the late James B. Kelly.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in memory of Mary Louise on Saturday, March 28, 2003 at 9am in St. Patrick's Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours at the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Friday 4-8pm.
