Mary (Makarewicz) Markiewicz of Woburn passed away on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Woodbriar Health Center in Wilmington. She was 99 years of age.
Born on May 5, 1919 in Chelsea, Mary is the loving daughter of the late Zigmond Markiewicz and Victoria (Tohau) Markiewicz. Mary is a warm and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be truly missed by all who knew her.
Mary is the devoted mother of John Markiewicz and his wife Sheila, Thomas Markiewicz and his wife Brenda and Michael Markiewicz and his wife Nancy. The cherished grandmother of Steven Markiewicz and Susan Casey and her husband Ed, Mary is the doting great grandmother of 2. She is the dear sister of Sophie Hicks, Al Makarewicz and the late Helen, Stella, Stanley and Mitch. Mary is also lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews.
