Mary (Scenna) Mastrocola

Mary (Scenna) Mastrocola, 79, beloved wife of the late Robert Mastrocola, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, July 16th at Sawtelle Hospice House in Reading.

Mary is a longtime resident of Stoneham and had a long and prestigious career for the Department of Defense as the director of computer systems. She is the sister of Angela Francescucci and her husband the late Nicola, the late Maria Domenica Cipollone and her late husband Camillo and the late Anna Scenna; the loving aunt of Maria O'Connor and her husband Joseph, Lillian Francescucci DiMaria, Domenic Cipollone and his wife Kathy and Nicholas Francescucci and his wife Terri; sister-in-law of Phyllis Mastrocola and her husband the late Nicola and Bruno Mastrocola and his wife Sandra; she is also the aunt to many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and god children. She is the daughter of the late Domenico and Carmina (Iocco) Scenna.

Her funeral will be held from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main Street (RT 28) Stoneham, on Thursday at 10:30am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Mary's Eternal Life at St. Joseph's Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield at 11:30am. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories in the Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4 to 8pm. Parking attendants and elevator are available.
