Mary C. (Venuti) O'Donnell

Mary C. (Venuti) O'Donnell, Retired R.N., a resident of Stoneham since 1965, passed away on Sunday September 17th, 2023. She was 87 years of age.

Mary is the beloved wife of the late Louis R. O'Donnell and loving daughter of the late Robert Venuti and Concetta (Calabro) Venuti. Mary is a graduate of Cheverus School in Malden and a graduate of Catherine Harbour School of Nursing in Dorchester. She worked for 15 years as a surgical head nurse and OPD at Carney Hospital in Dorchester.

Mary is the cherished mother of Ken O'Donnell of Princeton Maine and the late William O'Donnell. She is the mother in law of Rachel O'Donnell of Machiasport Maine. She is the loving grandmother of Jon L. O'Donnell and the late Timothy O'Donnell. She is the dear sister of Louisa Venuti. Childhood friend of Thelma Augello, Helen Grubinskau and the late Beverly Scarlett. Special cousin of Lee Luongo, Patricia Austin, Robert Heffernan and Victoria Holmes.

Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share memories with the family on Saturday September 30th, 2023 in the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT28) STONEHAM from 8 am to 9:30 am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Mary's Eternal Life in St. Patrick Church 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10 am. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
