Mary E. Porter of Somerville, passed away on Friday September 20, 2013.
Mary was the daughter of the late Thomas J. Porter and Catherine (Hanlon) Porter. Mary was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Mary was the beloved mother of Larry Porter and his wife Debbie. She was the cherished grandmother of Kari-Ann O'Brien, Katie Porter and Matthew Porter. Mary was the dear sister of Jeanne Fitzpatrick and her late husband Robert, Thomas Porter and his wife Peggy, Robert Porter and his wife Sandra, John "Buddy" Porter and his late wife Janice, and Michael Porter. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass Celebrating Mary's Eternal Life will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at 10am in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at the Barile Family Funeral Home (RT 28) STONEHAM from 4-8pm. Parking attendants and handicapped elevator are available.
In lieu of flowers, please honor Mary by making donations in her memory to Stoneham High School Booster Club 149 Franklin St. Stoneham, MA 02180.
