Mary (Scullin) Crowley

Mary (Scullin) Crowley of Gloucester, formerly of Stoneham passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 1, 2023.

Mary is the loving daughter of the late John A. Scullin and Mildred (Lonergan) Scullin.  Mary is a warm, gentle, kind and loyal daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt and friend who will be deeply missed.

Our family was not expecting Mary’s life to be cut so short so soon. We are all devastated by this huge loss and she will be forever missed. She was born with a naturally sweet and kind soul, a heart of gold, a big smile for everyone and she was always a joy to be around. She loved to go on adventures with her late husband Matty.  They made many memories traveling, whether it was going to the great white mountains or making their way around Cape Cod, visiting beaches, taking photos, and discovering different fishing spots along the way. Friends, family, and her extended Market Basket family will always remember her by her laugh, smile, and her love of coffee. 

Mary is the beloved wife of the late Matthew Crowley.  She is the devoted mother of Christopher D. Annetti.  The dear sister of John Scullin and his wife Sandra, Patricia White, Theresa Boulay, William Scullin and his wife Carol, the late Steven Scullin and his surviving wife Denise, Mary is also lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with Mary’s Family on Friday, May 5^th from 4-7pm with a Prayer Service to be held at 6:30 in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM.  Parking attendants and elevator are available.
