Mary L. Slack of Reading, passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2006 at the Winchester Hospital. She was 81 years of age.
Born in Reading, Mary was the beloved daughter of the late Frank Slack and Mary (Desmond) Slack. Mary was a member of the Reading Downtown Steering Committee and a member of St. Agnes Church. She was an avid gardener. Mary worked for Hale and Dorr Law Firm, Whitings Milk Company and Hood Milk Company and was a life long resident of Reading. Mary was a warm and caring daughter, sister, cousin and friend. She will be missed by all.
Mary was the dear sister of the late Margaret Slack and Catherine Slack. She was also survived by many cousins.
Funeral from the Joseph Doherty - Barile Family Funeral Home 11 Linden St. READING Tuesday at 8am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Mary's life in St. Agnes Church, 186 Woburn St. Reading at 9am. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend Visiting Hours Monday 2-5 pm. Parking is available in the municipal parking lot located behind Atlantic Supermarket on Haven St. Interment Forest Glen Cemetery, Reading.
