Maryann (Panay) Ferris of Reading passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2003 at the Hospice House in Reading. She was 56 years of age.
Born in New York, New York, Maryann lived in Reading for many years. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend. Her warm and gentle smile embraced everyone who knew her. She will be missed by all.
Maryann was the beloved wife of David M. Ferris. She was the devoted mother of Lisa Jean Guild and her husband Brian of Malden, David M. Ferris Jr. of Reading. Maryann was the dear sister of Richard Sullivan and his wife Elaine of Somerville, Sharon Sharland and her husband Tim of Danvers, Patricia Padhaisky and her husband Dana of TN, Diane Whittemore of Maine, and the late Kenneth January. She was the cherished daughter of the late Rosalie January LaChapelle, Kenneth M. January and Charles LaChapelle.
Funeral from the Joseph Doherty Funeral Home 11 Linden St. READING Friday at 8am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Agnes Church 186 Woburn St. Reading at 9am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours Thursday 4-8pm.
