Maryellen “Missy” Ahearn of Reading passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 10th, 2024. She is 71 years of age.
Born on Monday, September 21, 1953 in White Plains, New York, Missy is the loving daughter of the late James V. Ahearn and Jane (Tanner) Ahearn. Missy is a warm, kind, gentle and loyal daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, great aunt and friend who will be deeply missed.
Missy is the devoted sister of James “Butch” Ahearn and his wife Kathleen, Francis “Dan” Ahearn and his wife Ellen, Deirdre “Dee Dee” Ahearn, William “Bud” Ahearn and his wife Denise and Jane Ahearn. She is the beloved aunt of Melissa Ahearn, Alison Ahearn, Jennifer Ahearn, Nicholas Ahearn, Ryan Ahearn and Cameron Ahearn. The doting great aunt to Elizabeth and Madison Ahearn, and Aiden Anderson, Missy is the cherished cousin of Marie Boyd, Michael Herbert, Patty Frick, Brenda Willis, Brian O’Hearn and Jack Smith.
Funeral from the Doherty – Barile Family Funeral Home, 11 Linden Street READING on Friday, November 15th at 9:30am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Missy’s Eternal Life in Saint Agnes Church, 186 Woburn Street Reading at 10:30am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with Missy’s Family on Thursday, November 14th from 4-7pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and elevator are available.
