MaryLou Doucette of Reading, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at Lahey Clinic in Burlington. She was 63 years of age.
Born in Winchester, MaryLou was the daughter of the late Mary (Boudreau) Doucette and Paul Doucette. She was a loving mother, sister, aunt and friend and will be missed by all.
MaryLou was a member of the Board of Directors at Peter Sanborn. She loved her second family at Peter Sanborn Place.
MaryLou loved to go to Florida and Nova Scotia. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and spoiling them. MaryLou loved to play cards, doing crafts and playing bingo. She accomplished her life dream of swimming with dolphins. She got to meet Kenny Rogers. MaryLou owned Papa's Roast Beef in Salisbury. Above all else, she was the most devoted daughter to her father.
MaryLou was the Devoted mother of Fred Doucette of Salem, NH, Michael Doucette and his wife Wendy, Paul Doucette, Harry Doucette and his wife Susan all of Nashua, NH. She was the Cherished grandmother of Nicholas, Tyler, Michelle, Sean, Randy, Katherine, Kayla, Amanda, Fallyn, Tommy, Laci and Great grandmother of 2. MaryLou was the dear sister of Paul Doucette, Jr. and his wife Mary Grace of Wakefield, Pattie Ann Margeson and her late husband George of Tewksbury, Susan Shlit of Wilmington, Janet Santiago of Tampa, FL, Pamela O'Neill of PA, and the late Donna and Peter Doucette. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Doherty - Barile Family Funeral Home 11 Linden St. READING Tuesday at 8 am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating MaryLou's life in St. Agnes Church, 186 Woburn St., Reading at 9 am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the family on Monday from 3-8 pm. Parking is available in the municipal parking lot on Linden St. Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery, Stoneham.
