Matthew James Duggan of Reading passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2009 he was 37 years of age.
Born in Winchester, James was the son of Gerry and Jane Duggan of Reading. Matthew lived his entire life in Reading, vacationing in Windham, New Hampshire and Wells, Maine. He graduated from Reading Memorial High School in the class of 1990. Matthew worked as a proud member of the Carpenters Union.
Matthew was the husband of Jacqueline (Cuoco) Duggan. He was the father of John Paul, Matthew James Jr., Martha Rose, Mary Clare and the late Dale Marie, all of Reading. Matthew was the stepfather of Kevin & Georgia O'Donnell. He was the son of Gerry Duggan and Jane (Jellison) Duggan of Reading and the brother of Jennifer Albanese and her husband Charles of Carlisle, Sean Duggan and his wife Beth of Braintree. Matthew was the uncle of Nicole, Peter and Ailish. He was also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends.
Funeral from the Doherty - Barile Family Funeral Home, 11 Linden St. READING Thursday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Matthew's life in St. Agnes Church, 186 Woburn St. Reading at 10am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Wednesday from 4-8pm in the Funeral Home. Parking is available in the municipal parking lot on Linden St.
