Maureen (Sharkey) Bonnell

Maureen (Sharkey) Bonnell of Haverhill formerly of Reading, passed away unexpectedly on Nov. 21, 2017 at age 59. Beloved wife of Paul F. Bonnell. Devoted mother of Kelly LaBonte and her husband Christopher, Michael White and Joseph White. Loving grandmother of Michael White, Jack and Abigail LaBonte. Dear sister of Timothy Sharkey and his wife Bridget, Terry Sharkey and his wife Elaine, Patrick Sharkey and his wife Darlene, Mary Long and her husband Joe and the late Kathleen Benson and her surviving husband Ed. Daughter of the late James and Patricia (Hickey) Sharkey. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

The lights of her life were her three grandchildren, with whom she spent most of her time. In addition to her family her favorite pastimes were trips to the beach, gardening and refurbishing antiques. She will be deeply missed by those that had the fortune of knowing her.

Funeral procession will leave from the Doherty Barile Family Funeral Home at 11 Linden Street, READING on Wednesday Nov. 29th at 9:30am. This will be followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Maureen's Eternal Life at St. Theresa's Church located at 63 Winter Street, North Reading at 10:30am. Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share remembrances with the family on Tuesday, Nov 28th from 4-8:00pm in the funeral home. Parking attendants and a ramped entrance are available. Interment will be at Maplewood North Parish Cemetery, located at 23 Atkinson Depot Road, Plaistow NH.
